Athlete first
Every decision starts with the player: their age, their stage in each sport and how they feel about playing. Sessions are designed to be active, safe and fun, so players want to come back.
Why PURE
PURE is a multi-sport academy taking shape in Phuket for young players, from their first sessions to teenage competition. This is how we plan to coach, and why.

Every decision starts with the player: their age, their stage in each sport and how they feel about playing. Sessions are designed to be active, safe and fun, so players want to come back.
Running, jumping, balance, throwing and catching come first. Trying several sports builds all-round movement and helps players discover what they love and where their strengths are. Specialising comes later, when a player is ready.
A player’s age group decides which skills suit their age. Their stage — Foundation, Developing or Performance — is set separately for each sport. Strong in football and still starting in the pool is completely normal.
New and experienced players are welcome. Groups are shaped by age and stage, with challenges that fit each player. Ratings are never used to rank children against each other.
Clear goals, honest feedback and small wins build confidence. Coaches notice effort and progress, not only results.
Coaches observe players in sessions and record what they see against age- and stage-appropriate standards. A move up is always a coaching decision; a number never moves a child up on its own.
Pathway
Three stages in each sport, then PURE Stars: an honour that has to be earned.
Build confidence through balance, coordination, movement and the fundamentals of sport.
Putting it into the game. Skills hold up under pressure, and players start making their own decisions.
Consistent under real pressure and able to lead a group, in that player’s own sport and age group.
Earned in one sport at a time and confirmed by coaches. Players specialise and work towards main-team selection and competition; selection and medals are not guaranteed.
Saturday Sports Days celebrate stage advances with ribbons, not medals — for example, reaching Developing in swimming while still at Foundation in football. Stages move when coaches confirm them, not on a weekly schedule, and a Saturday is never needed to progress.
The PURE player app
Weekly, monthly and annual plans include the PURE player app: a profile for every sport, coach feedback and goals, attendance, and photos from sessions. The app is being built; the example uses a fictional player.
Every child develops differently. Our job is to coach them well and to show their progress honestly.
Meet the coaches and find a starting point in each sport.
