FAQ
Questions families ask
Short answers about starting at PURE. If your question is not here, email info@puresportsphuket.com or message us on WhatsApp.
Getting started
What is the introductory assessment?
A short, friendly session (฿550) where coaches meet the player, try some movement and sport activities, and suggest a starting stage in each sport tried. It is not a training session or a camp day, and kit and app access are not included.
Is the assessment an admission test?
No. The assessment finds a starting point; it is not a test to pass. Admission means confirming a place in a group, which depends on the player’s age group, stage and the places available. We confirm this with you before anything is paid.
How do we book?
Send the short enquiry form or the player registration form, or message us on WhatsApp. We will reply to arrange an assessment and confirm times, places and terms. Nothing is booked or paid on this website.
Who should fill in the forms?
A parent, guardian or another adult with their permission. We ask for the player’s age rather than a date of birth, and we never ask for health details, identity documents or photos through the website.
Sessions, hours and kit
What are the hours?
Monday to Friday: warm-up 15:30–16:00, coached activities from 16:00. U11 and younger finish at 18:00; older groups up to U18 finish at 20:00. Saturday Sports Days run 08:00–16:00. The price is the same for every age group. The full timetable depends on the venue and is being finalised.
Which sports are included?
Football, basketball, swimming, badminton, volleyball and running feature in the programme and rotate by age, stage and timetable.
Is kit included?
A starter player kit comes with the monthly programme and annual membership, with reasonable replacement when it is no longer usable. Single visits, weekly passes and the assessment do not include kit. Standalone camp packages for visitors include kit.
Plans and payment
How does payment work?
Each plan is paid upfront for its period: the weekly pass for its five weekdays, the monthly programme at the start of each month, and the annual founding membership for 12 months at once. Single visits are paid visit by visit. Nothing is paid on this website; we confirm details with you first.
What is the monthly commitment?
The monthly programme starts with a three-month commitment: ฿29,700 in total, paid as three monthly payments of ฿9,900. After that it continues month to month.
What does “about ฿495 a visit” mean?
It is an example: ฿9,900 divided by 20 weekday visits. The annual example is ฿85,200 over 240 weekday or half-day camp visits (not counting the included Saturdays), about ฿355 a visit. The weekly pass is ฿785 a visit. The real cost per visit depends on attendance and the operating calendar; we do not guarantee a number of visits.
What is the annual founding membership?
A founding price for the first 50 players on an annual plan, available until 30 November 2026: ฿85,200 paid upfront for 12 months (฿7,100 a month equivalent), saving ฿33,600 against 12 monthly payments. It includes half-day camps and Saturday half-days.
Which plans include the player app?
The weekly pass, the monthly programme and annual membership include the PURE player app and progress tracking while the plan is active. Single visits and the introductory assessment do not.
Is the app available now?
Not yet. It is being built, and the screens on this website use fictional players. Members will be invited to sign in when it opens. It is not in app stores.
Camps and Saturdays
Do members get holiday camps?
Active monthly and annual members get half-day places at the Winter Camp (about December to early January) and the Summer Camp (about late June to August). Full days are an optional paid upgrade for everyone. Visitors can ask about a standalone camp package, which includes kit. Camp dates and prices are being finalised.
What happens on Saturday Sports Days?
Training, games, mini-tournaments and coach assessments, 08:00–16:00. A half-day is included in annual membership; otherwise it is ฿990 per half-day. Full days are an optional paid upgrade. Saturdays are optional: a player never needs one to move up a stage.
Pathway and progress
How are age group and stage different?
The age group (U7, U9, U11 and so on) decides which skills suit a player’s age. The stage — Foundation, Developing or Performance — is set separately for each sport. A nine-year-old can be at Performance in football and Foundation in swimming.
How does a player move up a stage?
Coaches observe players in sessions and confirm a move up when a player is ready. It is not automatic, it does not follow a fixed schedule, and a score never moves a child up on its own. Saturday Sports Days celebrate confirmed advances with ribbons.
What is PURE Stars?
The earned stage after Performance, in one sport at a time — for example PURE Stars Football or PURE Stars Swimming. There, players specialise and work towards main-team selection and competition. It cannot be bought, selection and medals are not guaranteed, and our coaches are setting the criteria.
What do the scores mean?
Each skill is scored from 1 to 10 against the standard for the player’s age group and stage: 1–3 Emerging, 4–6 Practising, 7–8 Secure, 9–10 Consistent. The same number means different play at different stages, and there is no overall score.
